My Story
I was sexually abused as a child by a distant relative, and by the time I was exposed to masturbation and soft-core porn at age 10, I was instantly hooked. I stayed hooked for the next 20 years, including 10 years of marriage, all while genuinely loving God and desperately wanting to follow Him. That dichotomy, and the identity crisis it created, was the hardest part of the entire struggle. In 2015, God flipped on the stadium lights so I could see the battlefield I was in, see the enemy and his weapons, and learn how to fight. What I found on the other side was grace and freedom from the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit that I never want to let go of.
